Oh Man Padi - gotta be honest and say Matilda gives me the heebee geebees (she's got good taste in reading material though!).
I know - am I a man or a mouse.... squeak

Here is a pic of my dog Berry who I had for very nearly 17 years and she came to work with me every day - sadly passed away last year :-(

This has been one of the most touching and heartfelt threads I have ever read on TRF. It shows another side of people. One that illuminates our most human side - by spotlighting the animals that share this planet with us and love us unconditionally.

Agreed, Allan...and it would have been even more heart-wrenching if you decided to adopt me as your "pet"!!

And I told you why that would be pretty much impossible. Not enough money in the world to keep me AND you in Rolex watches!!!

We rescued this guy when he was 1 year old. 13 years later, he's a bit older and slower, but still a great dog (even though he's a little nuts at times).

A lot of the time he just does this now:

Here are photos of three of my five current cats. They are ALL former feral cats that we took in and love. The first one has become a good house cat. The others mostly stay outside. The calico cats are all about 10 years old, and Buffy and her brother Ginger (I don't have a good digital photo of him, and that's too bad - he is the best looking cat of the whole group) are 9 years old:

This is Buffy - she is spoiled rotten!

This is Minnie (because she is the smallest) - she does come inside once in awhile:

This is Harlie (I called her Harley first, because I thought she was a male cat. Then the vet informed me that ALL calicos are females - LOL):

I have always had cats - we just love 'em!!!

DAMMIT!

I will have to DELETE Allan "Prince" and Al "Alcan" from my tossers' list, since I am a passionate cat lover as well

But on the other hand: I don't have a cat at the moment, so I think I will let you two have a high-rank place on the list until I give you further notice.

Here's Bear our Great Dane giving my wife a hug! He is not with us here in Germany. He's with one of my wife's friends back in the States. Sorry about the bad picture...it was taken with a phone camera.

Thanks, Bo. We LOVE being high on your list!!! Just make sure JJ is on board with this as well. We wouldn't want to slip off of THAT list either!

Well Bo, if you like that one, here's her brother. I did not include him in the earlier group of photos. And, of all things, his name is Ginger!
