Explorer Owners?

Any out there? White face vs. black? Is the movement the same as a GMT? What did you have prior to it? I think I need one in white soon!!

I hope to get one of these eventually. It will have to be the white dial for me. I already have a sub, so I'll need something visually different.

The Exp-II and the GMT-II run the SAME 3185 movement. I've enjoyed BOTH at one time or another!!

JJ

...and the GMT-II too!!

I've got a white dial Exp II and I love it. Its just soooo different from all the other Sports models. The white dial looks great and understated. Looks great with a Tux or jeans and t-shirt.

The black dial is what you get with the S/S Sub, SD, Exp I, GMT II etc.. I wanted something to contrast, a ying to yang so to speak. So I got this :

Sorry... I don't think I could wear a watch smaller than 40mm now. The monster is 42 and the 01 is 44.

Honestly it hasn't been on my wrist in over four months.

Gotta admit mine is struggling for wrist time right now. The 104 is so comfortable and such a perfect size the Exp II does seem a little small in comparison. Still an amazing watch however!

No question about that... mine just doesn't get used, nor does it smile at me.

My PAM was pined for, for well over three years. Five months of wearing it, the watch beams at me and I'm loving it! Gotta love a big Italian mistress.

Good question, Justin. She's quite the slut and has had a few threesomes in the past. Not sure if Subby would want to share her though. I'd have to protect my beloved TT BLUE from that vile temper of Subby's.

Can you imagine the scratches he'd inflict all over that gold?

I think this conversation is now getting plain silly, right?

No, I'd say its following the same path as most threads, which is to say it has nothing to do with the original topic.

I'm blaming you JJ. You have a better hijacking record than Black September..

Thank you, thank you very much! I was taught by the master GURU of 'em all - Ed (Rockrolex)!!

You should see the way he carries out hijacks. A real master, very professional with a sleight of hand and pen that will leave you in a tizzy!! Man, that guy is good!!
