Runs With Rolex

Trying to capture some shots while running; couldn't get the running shoes in the shots though!!! Starting out and about 10 minutes left. Anyone else running with theirs?

Nice pictures! Your watch setup reminds me of an overcast day out on the ocean.

That's exactly it; the oceans to the right in the early shots on the other side of the road and dunes!!! Happy to have the cloud cover!!!

I don't know Lee...is it safe??

Looking good, and glad to see you're enjoying modding it. I'm not a runner, but don't have any issues running around outside while playing with the kids while wearing one.

If I'm timing runs I'll use my Daytona.

I run with mine frequently. I don’t have any pictures while doing it though.

Right now my Daytona is on leather; with the amount of water coming off of me the strap gets pretty wet. You can see below; I made the mistake the other day. Besides I've got a Fitbit Charge 4 on the other wrist to keep me honest.

These type of threads remind me of Mickey Mouse. You know, Mickey goes on Safari, Mickey goes into space, Mickey goes motor racing, Mickey Mouse goes skiing etc.

Your saying I'm Mickey Mouse; thanks a bunch bud.

Actually the other day there was a thread, is it safe to run with a Rolex? I figured I'd never seen a photo of someone's Rolex while running. Difficult to take a shot actually showing what's going on.

I think there is a thread on here somewhere with the title ‘What are you drinking while wearing your Rolex’
And another that asks for pics behind the wheel of your car while wearing your Rolex!
The scenarios for these type of threads are endless lol.

You could go on and on into Rolex OCD infinity

It’s not safe at all. You should immediately cease any and all activities that bumps your heart rate above
65 bpm with your Rolex.

I have on many occasions, but I honestly find my Apple Watch more useful for exercise. My Apple Watch definitely added some motivation and helped me to lose 65lbs. I love my mechanicals, but smart watches definitely have their place in exercise.

Glad to know I'm still allowed to sleep then. Oh wait, that's not safe with a Rolex on.

Sorry, no sleeping with your Rolex on. You never know what terrible things might happen to it, while you violently toss and turn throughout the night.

I have been running 5 day's a week (30 Miles) for the last 13 years wearing a Rolex. I have a Samsung Active 2 but really don't care to have it constantly talking to me, being an international pilot it's just a bother to bring another watch.

I read this as you had the runs with your Rolex. I clicked with great trepidation... And then relief.

Awesome that you use it while sporting.

I think your bezel needs a bit of a clean and brush. :)

That’s about the only time I take off my Rolex/Tudor. And it’s not because I would harm it, but rather because I’m wearing my heart rate monitor

Although I’m sure I *could* run with my Rolex on, its nit up to the job I require. Thats why I have a Garmin. Tracks everything and plays my music. The mechanicals (Rolex or other) go back on when I’m done though.

I used to run with the Garmin until they had their computer issues; now I wear my Fitbit Charge 4 on the other wrist to keep me honest (as I said earlier in the thread). They both stay on 24/7. (Rolexes get rotated however.)
