If it’s all the same to you then you shouldn’t get the Daytona for value retention.

42 yacht master oyster flex or white gold daytona on oyster flex

Would go against the crowd and say Yachtmaster!

Daytona seems to be the winner so far. Just want to add a bit more info on my collection I currently have the rose gold yacht master on oysterflex and the white gold daytona with the blue dial. Also the ss black dial ceramic. Maybe that would help.

Daytona by a long mile. Black bezel and black dial is a bit monotonous.

I was offered a new YM 42 WG by my AD last week but ended up passing on it and ordered a WG Oysterflex Daytona instead. Yachtmaster is a cool watch for sure but 42 is too big for me and at a similar price point the Daytona (movement wise at least) is a better value and imo a better looking watch.

Given your collection I kind of want to say none of them (too much overlap), but if I had to choose I'd go Daytona OF.

Yachtmaster 42m , which is what I am wearing. Daytona only with the proper bracelet. Doesn’t seem to work so well with OF. And the dials are hard to read.

Given that collection...I personally wouldn’t get either one, and I’d look at getting at YG or WG DD40

The yachtmaster will contrast nicely with a red car
