Laser etched rolex logo on yacth master

I had a M serial platinum YM, does anyone know if there is a laser etched
rolex logo on 6 o'clock position? I can't find it. Can anyone confirm there is one?

I can't confirm that the YM does or does not have it, but I would imagine it does. Try using a loupe and holding the watch at an angle so the etching stands off the dial, this usually helps make it visible..

It takes some fiddling with angles to find the etching - especially against the lighter colored dials.

Get a 10x or 15x jewellers loupe and you should find it, move the watch around at varying angles, try shining a torch from the 6 o'clock position. I would say it is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. I only spotted the etch on my sub yesterday after buying a loupe. Or alternatively, as a lot of people here have done, is take a photo of the 6 o'clock position with a macro lens. You should see it then as well.

It can be really hard to see with the naked eye. Try a loupe or take a close up photo (macro) while shining a light on the crystal from the side.

Even if the crystal has been replaced (with a genuine Rolex one) it should be there. Service replacement crystals have a sideways "S" inside the little coronet. Think "~", there should be some pics of that floating around. Finding the coronet on such a light reflective dial can indeed be difficult...

It's there......Keep looking at different angles but it is there....If yours is a white dial it will be harder to find!!!

100% there, but very hard to see against the Platinum background of the dial.

These etchings are easier to spot against the darker dial backgrounds.

Just send the guy your super googles and he will find it in a eyeblink.

Yes there is a laser logo at your watch.

I have a YM from around 04 and a Milgauss white dial from 08 and I can't see the damn etch on either. I am a dentist and i even tried with my surgical loupes and a halogen head lamp and still no dice on either. The Milgauss I bought from an AD. The YM i bought from a patient who is a vice cop (so I'm pretty sure it was evidence at some point). Most reps I have seen, the etch is impossible NOT to see because they are over done. Probably a good thing that you can't see it.
