new W&W GS...

Glad to see GS adding some of their dial magic to the more overtly sporting watches,,,BUT....

the more I see them, the more I'm wishing the PR was not on the dial.
My Fifty Fathoms has a 5 day reserve, but I manage just fine without knowing how much is left- either its ticking and I pop it on, or it's not and I wind/set it....

SLGA015

and I would say this is a more "Polar" GMT:

Both very nice, but I'd argue would have been nicer without the PR

The PR on the dial really doesn't bother me that much. However the $11K price for the SLGA015 does.

Also, their new chrono GMTs are also a bit overpriced.

The Grand Seiko Kodo is so cool but the price is crazy to me.

Looks like GS has finally put in their constant force tourbillon into a watch.

What a lovely watch, I'm blown away. Attention to detail is superb, but as expected with the brand.

Don't think I'll be having one of those in my collection but can certainly appreciate the quality and finishing.

I think with how they’ve priced the E9 collection as a whole from the get go, probably just a matter of time before everyone gets used to GS’ new pricing scheme.

And I reckon they shouldn’t be selling themselves short too - the whole E9 lineup is looking solid.

Was hoping for a little bit more color out of the new models.

Any sign of them updating the clasps on the newer releases or same same? Think the diver is unch but would be awesome if they had something up to Rolex/iwc/omega clasps.

That aside, this line is super tempting and valid alternative to the big crown which, unfortunately, is what everything is compared to these days

I love the watch style and execution. I just can't fathom the price.

At $8K to $9K, this would kill.

Love the GMT. That is a fantastic watch so crisp and clean and well executed.

I never liked the "sporty" watches but this white one is gorgeous. What is the model number?

Not to sound snobbish, but I’m happy GS is finally increasing their prices to an appropriate level.

That weeds out the bargain hunters who fell into GS coz they can’t afford secondary market prices for hot brands like Rolex and AP from the real enthusiasts who like the brand for what it is. I also think the price increase should elevate the status of GS in the long run (as long as they don’t start giving out 40% discount at Retail like what other brands traditionally do).

Going back, I’m digging the new diver a lot but I need to see it in the flesh if its new proportions change it noticeably from my SBGA231.
