Sorry to hear, just saw your post but Steve has been banned here from about 12th June 2012 atleast so I would have thought any research on that would have been easy to find here. Plus you could have just asked.

Silver lining at least is you paid via Paypal and not wire so funds so funds were protected... is this because you suspected something?
