I agree with some previous comments.
I find the number of people buying PP in their 20's or early 30's remarkably high!

I think it's a really good thing.

M. Stern would be pleased ;-)

I was 39 when I placed an order for a Nautilius. I got it when I was 110 years old. It was worth waiting.

Also - huge congrats to those of you enjoying Pateks in your 20s and 30s! That’s awesome, live and enjoy them in good health for years and years to come.

35, 5205g.

Since then I have added a 5196r and really enjoy both of them.

Maybe for 50 I will get a QP.

I would have liked an aquanaut, but other pieces from other brands cover that role.

I picked up my World Time (5110G) in January this year, at the age of 37. My goal was to own a Patek before I turned 40.

a 1979 Ellipse that was my dad’s when he passed, I was 48, but he had given
me quite a few from his collection a Rolex, several Cartier, a couple of Bulgari, a Piaget early on. That’s how I got into watches, at 15 with a Rolex from grandfather that was stolen in prep school😕 (As dad had warned me it would!).

Now I have three Patek that I gifted myself….

it’s never too soon or two late, depends on cash and wants, and of course these days availability.

39 - 5960g
39 - 5726
39 - 7118 (the missus)

Wanted a 5726 back in 2014 when I was 32 but couldn't afford it back then. Lucky to have finally got one.

60. Had to wait until house and college and retirement were set. Then retirement plunges! Thank God I didn’t get into watches until my 50’s or I’d be working until I’m 80. I said this one was my last, but that Pilot time is calling my name.
