5726/1A Blue vs 5990/1A

Hey Guys quick question here. Why has 5726/1A blue dial gone up so much in the last few months compare to 5990/1A? Is it getting discontinued?

It's thinner than the 5990. Usually thinner sport watches get more hype after their initial launch hype dies down.

Also, the 5726/1A Blue is much newer than the 5990/1A, so it's unlikely to be discontinued first.
