PP5990/1A-001 and PP5726/1A-001 waiting list

I’ve been trying to put my name at many places in Europe for PP5990/1A-001 and PP5726/1A-001 (I live in France). I am told by most ADs that 5726/1A-001 will be 2-3 years and 5990 will be over 5 years. Some of them don’t even accept the waiting list. Recently I was asked by one AD to put €6,000 deposit for 3 years waiting to get 5726/1A-001!!

Not sure if US or other places are the same. My original wishlist last year was 5711 but due to its popular and impossible to get within reasonable waiting time (between 1-2 years) so I turned my target to 5990 and 5726 but they seem not easy neither.

Appreciate all advises or PM of any recommended place that they are still selling the less popular nultilas like these 2 models to new client :D thank all.

If you do take the trip, let us know and perhaps we can work out a GTG in BR.

Sure, I will. Still waiting for more information from @DrRec
I just tried to call AD in Sao Paulo but they don’t have any nautilus, perhaps not the right one.

Just called the store
They sold the watch last month...
They have only one Nautilus now, the discontinued 5711J, on a leather strap

That’s actually a pretty cool piece for the right buyer. Would make a great dress watch

The Patek ADs in Sao Paulo are very nice. But Brazil charges a luxury tax on these watches, so usually not a good deal. Of course other countries charge luxury tax as well - notably China, Russia and a few other countries.

I just got my hands on 5711j. Traded in blue dial 26300st …both are amazing pieces. But the AP I was able to wear more often being stainless. Now the YG on the Patek is just amazing. Hopefully it was the right decision. But who knows…

I was gonna say 2 to 3 years doesn't look bad but I then realized this topic is a dig out from 3 1/2 years ago...

Why?
