I would definitely "consolidate" into fewer watches, in general, with or without Ferrari.

Seem to have agreed a deal in principle on a nero on nero F12. Assuming everything checks out in person I might have a V12 added to the stable right after Christmas.

Trying not to get my hopes up in case something comes up but holy crap its hard not to get excited...

So excited for you Tyson! Ferrari ownership is something very special. After driving and owning it after 24hrs, you will see the difference in anything else you have or had. The Ferrari brand is to create emotions and feelings like no other. Congrats my friend

Thanks Nicholas. The conversation with you definitely pushed me over the edge.

Here is a pic of the car from a prior dealer's listing (they are higher quality than the dealer I'm working with now). I loved the yellow stitching and yellow seatbets to match the scuderia shields. I need to get the calipers done in yellow too I think.

I would not recommend having the calipers painted from an outside source, unless you know someone who has done it before and looks OEM. Because if it looks aftermarket, I think that is bad for a car like this. You would likely be better off trying to source an OEM set of yellow calipers from the dealer. Will be expensive but you may be able to sell the ones on the car now and not come out too bad in the end. This would be the right way to do it IMO. My .02 of course.

Thanks everyone and good point V25V.

A little anxious and nervous as I suppose is normal when you finally get to “meet your heroes.” Never thought I’d be able to fulfill the dream so soon

a good reputable shop should be able to do it no problem. my team can likely help with that.

I dont love red calipers as they are everywhere. so when I got my GLE 63s, I did them in black. they are perfect.

but I did my old range in blue, and they flaked within 6 months. I took it someplace else, on the original guys dime, and they came out good.

personally, I like the black. I would keep em.

Deal done and picked it up today. An incredible machine. Will have more reactions once I’ve had a chance to drive more in better weather. Initial reaction are that it’s surprisingly comfortable and feels like a beast lives within. Also much more beautiful in person out in the world.

Absolutely over the moon.

that looks sick and the best way to end a year, i think these look best in black/white, so really nice spec. any plans to do any mods (wheels, color)? gonna be a long wait til some we get some decent weather here in nyc lol, but then again we always have some random summer like days in the winter

Nothing as of now besides a paint correction and PPF. Oh and a valve controller for the exhaust.

Before I picked it up I definitely thought I wanted to do yellow calipers but seeing it in person I kind of like the darker ones on there now and there’s plenty of yellow on the side with the scuderia shields and yellow center caps on the wheels.

What a stunning car. The color and spec is gorgeous. It has an elegance and a sinister look at the same time. Like a beauty but don’t mess with me.
PPF is definitely a priority and yes, the Capristo valve controller makes a nice difference in everyday setting. Congrats man! You have a piece of automotive history in that V12.

Congratulations! The F12 has always been one of my favorites. Really great car. Not sure how else to say it, I think I have a thing for dark colored cars,…but love it in black as well the way it picks up the light and reflections just further enhance a great looking car. I think the calipers being black as well help the overall aesthetic as they don’t take the focus off the beautiful lines of the car itself.
