Patek 4947/1

Hi guys,

My AD just called asking me if I want the new 4947/1. I said yes to head in and try it on. It will be a few weeks before I will be able to visit and try it on.

Any fellow collectors out there having it on the wrist or has tried it on? Thoughts? Im a bit concerned about the watch being too small for my wrist as I'm a tall dude (194cm), however i don't have to worlds biggest wrists.

If anyone can share some pictures it would be greatly appreciated!

Have a good one !

Not a large watch (I measured lug to lug to be at 45.4mm) but doesn’t look small on the wrist either (my wrist is 16cm). But yes, go try it on if you can.

I got a 16cm wrist and find this watch very comfortable to wear. It's a nice looking dial and not many Patek watch use SS for case and bracelet outside their sports model. However, I prefer the 5146G. I find the leather strap suit this type of dial face more aesthetically pleasing!

That's a gorgeous piece. Anyone know how long the wait is on them in the UK?

I'm not sure about UK. In Denmark it is an allocation piece, not like Nautilus' though. But. nowadays even 6119G you'll have to wait I guess.
