I don’t, but I make sure my butler always has a few quid on him.

I've used only a card holder for the last few years.

Cash is disgusting. I hate touching it. Especially American cash. At least some other countries have that sweet plastic cash that stays clean and can be washed.

Plus let me get those sweet rewards points for using my card.

Edit: I did not get it.

I like a couple hundred dollars in my wallet. You never know when you’ll need something.
Cash is king and not everyone takes Amex.

Agreed.

Normies (non Rolex people) are rarely seen with Creed branded hand sanitizer.

I agree.

$200 is enough for 8 shots of Lagavulin 25. Then the Goldman Sachs Diamond Card (super Centurion) for some caviar.

Tipping. Cash is still king.

And unless you get a marker, you need it to gamble in Vegas.

Last time I carried a lot of cash money on me, cash money was all over the radio.
(GB man will get it. For everyone else, this was a joke)

I'm told by middle staff that small sums of the stuff are disbursed to lower staff at Christmastime.
It's said to be quite popular.
If direct contact were permitted, I'm sure they'd express gratitude.
They seem to like doing that.

Always a few hundred just in case but rarely use it. Primarily tips and bribes.

What is cash? I rarely carry around a few dollars. I will carry a wad when going to AC, NJ a few times a year. I need it for a BJ…

Hit the BJ tables

I was going to make a joke about how hookers only take cash, but
a) I've never used their services and
b) These days, they'd probably prefer Venmo anyway

And I suspect that street-level drug dealers also prefer cash but see #1 above.

When I was in England a few years ago, it seemed that the cabbies preferred cash, and using plastic took an extra 5 minutes for them to boot up their machines. Some cabbies apparently don't even have a credit card machine.

And yes, tipping doormen and such is certainly easier with a folded bill than any other method.

Yes, yes, Chewy, I know I'm missing the spirit of the thread, and my financial advisor's manservant (who delivers my cash) said I need to cut back and use PayPal, but one of the upstairs maids misplaced my phone, and I can't get into my account.

When I purchase new tyres for my Cadillac golf cart [we're all electric in the community] I'll pay cash. The shop owner likes cash for off-book transactions.

Agreed. He’s been banned a few times. I wouldn’t doubt this is really it for him on TRF at this point.
