Advice on a selling price for ladies datejust?
I don't post a lot here and instead try to learn, since I don't know a whole lot about Rolex watches. I own a basic Submariner and my wife a 32mm Datejust.
I have her 26mm 2-tone Datejust that I bought for her in 1993. She wore it everyday pretty much, and it has always had regular service from Rolex USA in NYC. The last one was a major service in 2014. What's a decent and fair price to advertise it for? I have just become a pledge member here so I can post an ad. I'll go with what the group says, and I'd like to actually sell it - not necessarily hold out for absolute top dollar for it. I know I don't have the posts here to have a reputation, but have a stellar one on EBAY of 100%, but their fees are ridiculous. Have good photos - here's a few. As you can see, the watch has wear on it and there is some band stretch. I would suggest looking on ebay and chrono24 to see how much a similar watch is going for. You might be able to charge a slight premium because of the 2014 major service. Good luck!
