Completely agreed. You only get once chance at a first impression and this is so bad. Tudor has never been more desirable with the iconic vintage pieces really getting popular and this is what the brand introduces??? It's gross. It takes Tudor three steps back and Rolex 1/2 a step.

This piece of scrap metal took the wind out of my sails for Tudor and Basel...tomorrow could only get worse if they add leopard pattern dials.

Clearly trying to be a lower price point Datejust. I can see why, but it doesn’t interest me.

You're really taking this personally. I mostly agree with your comments but at the end of the day, it's just a watch. I have no doubt tomorrow will bring the quality releases.

If Rolex does like Tudor, what would that be? Waffle dial on a DJ?

I mean no disrespect to the team who designed it, but it looks like a watch that belongs in a display case at Sears or JC Penney. It doesn't seem exciting at all. I am glad to see the nice Tudor logo on it, but I should not be seeing a Tudor logo on a watch that looks like this one.

It's just so ugly. Was thinking about venturing back to a Tudor one of these days but with a line like this, it makes the rest look bad by association. At least I'd wear just about any non-precious stone rolex in public, but not this.

Nothing personal, just excited for Basel kicking off and think this watch unwearable and hard to look it bad.

It certainly doesn't do anything for me. It's interesting though in that I don't think I've ever seen such a strong consensus on this site before.

I would take it if a 100% discount was offered. Well, maybe not.

Nice bracelet but a bit Michael Kors-esque

It's been dropped now to coincide with morning in Asia. The announcement of the new Asian brand ambassador kind of confirms what we all thought r.e. the target market - it's just a bit detrimental for their brand image to my, Western eyes, that it's going about it about as subtly as a tiger print jade-encrusted Datejust would.
