With that list of watches, you need some therapy.

This is where I am! If one is missing due to being out for service I start shopping!

Generally wearing a blue shirt, probably one of the Pepsi GMTs, blue Tudors or something like the blue dial Maen 37.

White shirt, gray/black jacket or sweater, probably the white dial speedy or Daytona

Darker green, black, gray or more casual often the black sub or 2254.

Casual khakis with blue tone shirt the vintage GMT.

Super dry nice day driving one of the cars, black speedy on a nato or MN strap in a fun color like gulf blue/orange or martini stripes etc.

New Year’s Eve is often the black sub. The minute hand snaps the date dead on midnight! Usually goes with the color theme for an outfit that is black white and maybe a silver/gray tie.

This is sort of the fun part, right? Daily dose of justification for all these watches!

Only buy what you will feel compelled to reach for and wear over ones you already have.

I guess I'm an one watch guy I have 4total watches 18078,16610lv,16613 serti and the one the last year I didn't take off is my PP5066. It's perfect 120m wr. light, and highly legible. Plus not flashy draws no looks. I won't sell the others I will hand them down to my sons. Bonus what a movement to look at.

I currently own 4 "high-end" pieces: 3 Rolex and 1 VC. Rest is entry and mid-tier, so not reallly worth selling since I still very much enjoy wearing them.

I would not add another high-end piece without selling one or two first. I think 2 expensive ones is enough in a collection, on top of all the rest. As I age, I really want less stuff in my life.

My approach has been to collect pieces from a purpose approach- Casual watch, dress, sport, and then a primo/grail. I've just tried to fill those buckets, so to speak.

I only get something that truly is fun for me to wear and are each a little different. Example- not a bunch of black dials, try and mix it up.

I don't buy just to have it- a good example for me personally is the Explorer, it would be cool to have one but it doesn't stand out, so I've refrained from pulling trigger.

I approach my collection exactly like this. My collection is a bit too large to rotate regularaly by I do eventually get around to wearing them all. But more importantly, I enjoy them even while not wearing them.
