Something of the beaten path! Very rarely seen combo of rose gold and smoked salmon dial. The strap has matching stitching of the Chrono indices, representing the Indian flag. This was a Sachin Tendulkar (a world famous cricketer) 39mm Royal Oak Ltd edition of 150 pieces.

Very nice! I’ve seen it before. In the RO 40 or 50 years book, I think.

I didn’t know that the Japan limited edition was a 3-hander and a separate chrono piece. The chrono must be white gold like the other. Indeed, the chrono version makes a huge impression with how those subdials dazzle in the light. Strong move getting both pieces!

Yes they are Both WG and I was able to trade for them and get a screaming deal! they are crazy expensive right now, I just saw a 15503BC 3 hander go for $75k usd

It seems like the Asian market gets such amazing pieces BUT whats crazy to me is that they are getting these LARGE 41mm pieces where you would think the 38mm-39mm would be the home-run size? I was just in Japan this summer and in Hong Kong a few years ago and at 5ft 10 inches tall with a 6.80 inch wrist, I do feel like I tower over the Japanese. But I find the Chinese are all over the board on sizes but still a large portion are in the 5'7" range with smaller wrists.... I worked in Asia for years as a consultant and lived in Thailand and Vietnam for almost 3 years... for me 39mm RO or a 37mm ROOC is perfect for me! the 41mm RO should be the limit for my wrist for sure of NO LARGER!
SO I am not sure why there are so many Special releases in the 41mm to Asia?

That’s a very interesting point indeed. I have come to understand and accept that Asia will periodically get exceptional pieces that are limited to that market; however, you would expect that such pieces would be optimally sized for the average wrist dimensions there. A 39mm AP is easily considered optimal for any market, but it would have been a considerate gesture for special editions in Asia, exactly to your point.
I don’t know why AP doesn’t except to think that maybe any other 39mm pieces would fetch obscenely high premiums in the secondary market and encourage flipping. Just a thought.

I also feel like oversized pieces are going to be the first and easiest to Flip if you dont find yourself wearing it often if at all.

It is exponentially harder to want to get rid of a piece you are wearing often.

Uh yes. More I looked the more I realized that wasn't Highlands in the background...I should know better, but it has a little thunderbowl look to it with exhibition down the middle.

Love the Beaver and warm cookies.

Thank you again for the encouragement.

I believe pictures never do the watches justice, but I do my best.

Too cute! Seriously, this makes for an excellent advertisement compared to the impression PP gives with its pictures.
