TRF problem on Chrome and Safari browsers
Am I the only one having problems recently with accessing TRF on
- Safari browser on the iPad. When I type answers more often than not the browser crashes!? - Chrome on a Mac: I cannot click on links, e.g. when I try to access the poll results in a new tab it is blank. Any link-clicking opens up a blank tab?! Anyone else experienced this? |

Since I use IE on PCs exclusively, I don't experience those issues.

I've got Windows XP at home and 7 at the office and on two laptops (one I keep at our place in New York and the other at our place in Florida). I'm thinking of loading Windows 8 Beta on my Fujitsu notebook (my travelling machine) to replace Vista there. I have never had a problem with Vista, but I might want to test Windows 8 and the notebook would be the best place to test it.

I'm using Chrome Canary on my Mac and it works perfectly.
Current version is 19.0.1060.0. You must keep up to date with Chrome.

I just checked my Chrome was 18.x-something. I couldn't do the online update.
So uninstalled Chrome and started over with a fresh install, which ended up being 17.0.963.65??? And it shows that is up-to-date with the latest version? Regardless, this doesn't explain why Safari tends to crash on an iPad when writing, especially a bit longer, answers? |

FYI, to the OP, the issue isn't RolexForums. It''s running on vBulletin, which is a very stable forum software. iOS is a little flaky. If you're having issues with the web version of the site, download the Tap-a-Talk app to access RolexForums. Chrome on Mac is just opening TRF's target=blank links in a new tab, as it should. There's nothing funky going on with the code. It's definitely a problem with the browser. And that's definitely not a Chrome bug... if it were, it would be a HUGE one, and no one would use Chrome. Sounds like something got corrupted in your system (yes, that can happen with Macs, no matter what their marketing people tell you). You may have to uninstall / reinstall Chrome to fix that problem. |

Problems, such as? 2 browsers having similar issues on the same computer could be indicative of a virus, you know.
