This will be my first Breitling, so I figured I’d get something a bit more special.

Here’s a side by side photo, along with a 43mm modern Navitimer I tried on.

Best post of the thread. Thanks for the pictures. Maybe you should have purchased both ;)

I was told delivery in late October or November for mine. I'm not expecting it in the first few batches though, as they let me pick my limited edition number (for the red gold one) and I picked one in the 100's.

Number picking? I don’t remember that part of the buying process for my SS version

Maybe it's only possible if you purchase at a Breitling Boutique. Even then, they couldn't really guarantee any particular number ahead of time - only that it would be requested.

I will admit the anticipation has me foolishly considering picking up another Breitling in the meantime just to "scratch the itch".

Hope the packaging is something special, to compensate for all this wait.

Lol, I completely get it.... I bought a Breitling for Bentley green B01 the other month just because I needed something in between!

Are these really sold out? Or just all allocated to dealers?

Walked into Wempe in NYC and asked about the watch. They stated that they have 2 on order and one still for sale which I could buy if I leave a full deposit.

Considering that I just walked off the street with no purchase history, it makes one wonder if this is really “sold out”.
They also mentioned that the US will get about 400 watches.

Anyway, if someone is looking for one, it seems there is at least one available.

Hmmm. I heard from breitling AD that they will not be released until oct/nov this year.

Maybe some of the first ones who've put deposits dropped off, considering they announced June initially.

Not yet delivered, but they told me that they have 3 allocations for which 2 have been already paid in full. They offered me the 3rd, but I declined since I have a a deposit in with my local dealer.

Received mine today. Don't get your hopes up on the packaging. I too thought it would be awesome, but a step down. Watch is a beauty, though.

Congrats on a beautiful watch! I actually like the minimal packaging. The huge, heavy boxes that come with most watches do nothing but take up storage space. That travel case might actually be useful!
