One of the best trios I've seen. The Daytona is amazing.

Thank you very much for all your comments guys really appreciate it.. I am really happy with the 5 pieces I have as I think every one is completely different to the other and also every piece I think will hold its value very well over a long period of time :-)

Well I have another 2 pieces which I use for work and water sport etc... Id love a Platinum piece to the collection. I prefer keeping a smaller collection of 5-6 pieces as I hate having watches not getting wrist time.....
I agree and am also going for 6 pieces, the 4 I have plus 5711 and Voutilainen, should be done for a while, though I still have the envy of getting an alternative style watch plus would love a 5131p, though I would be ok to pay a huge premium

6 pieces is a good number I think, sometimes less is more.. I like having a small number of more unique pieces..

I agree, though apart from the Voutilainen I will have basic pieces but at the same time not so easy to get for the average Joe, love my 2 discontinued AP, the prices for a blue 15300 have rocketted, I thought I got my unworn for too much, 5 months ago, now even used blue ones sell for over what I paid for mine, and for the SS Nautilus they are basically impossible to get in France, the only AD, Wempe, never gets any, and the Salon doesn't take any names for ANY SS Nautilus any more, of course if you get a 100k+ PP I am sure that they will get you a 5711 if you want, but when I went last time they told me no to putting me on the list for a 5712.
I buy my watches for the pleasure but I must say having very in demand watches is nice as well, it adds something to ownership I must say

I have number 6 (PP5711 blue steel) coming in a few months from salon in London where I have good relations with the salon manager there.. Not bought from them anything yet and only been on the list for around 6 months or so.. I buy what I like but at the same time its great to have pieces that hold their value well incase you need to sell you wont loose money..

I totally agree, makes it easier to enjoy your hobby when you know that in worse case if ever you need to sell one day for some reason, you should get back what you put, unfortunately not the case with all watches, if I was sure that if I needed to sell I wouldn't loose money I would probably have an Urwerk in the collection, trying to decide if to get an MB&F, the price and all is ok, but worried about resale factor, not even the problem of loosing a few k, more about not being able to find a buyer if I need to sell it, have been weighing the pros and cons for a few days
