He's safe, for the time being. But apart from four hour's wear on sunday morning, it's been all Panerai, all the time!

Of course, if I sold the Rolex think of the number of straps I could buy!

Aaron, the Kirium got sold months ago and the proceeds kicked off my daughter's university fund. A fair trade-off, I'd say. ;~)

Thanks Al... coming from a guy who takes outstanding watch pix, that means a lot! I wouldn't call it a collection, though. Just a few toys that make me happy. ;~)

BTW, i'm sooooo loving this Panny. After wanting one for so long, Daren this morning asked if I felt at all let down (you know, building it up on some high pedestal)... but it's everything I thought it would be and more.

I'm also really digging the manual wind. Weird you don't wind it with kinetic movement... I actually have to wind this thing which I quite like. It's a great bonding experience. LOLOL

Also, I noted in my first post that the watch has a PR of 56 hours. I was wrong. The PAM111 has that PR. I found some old data on the PAM01 (major diff is the 01 doesn't have a swan's neck regulator) and the PR is rated at 41 hours. The cool thing is, I did a test on mine that finished up yesterday. The PR is actually 47 hours and 58 minutes. Pretty cool.

I think we have all calls from tiny islands in the south pacific blocked. Too many crank calls from BKLs.
