Hi,
On May 2017, I bought from UK after waiting, Patek Philippe 5711/1A-010. The dial supposed to be blue. But what I received is Grey !!! The shop staff said the Grey discontinued by 2010 !

Congrats on the 5711. It is the blue dial but I agree with you it is more of a grey-ish blue. Wear it in good health

Thanks Helmi, but I don稚 see it blue at all. In UK they say it is blue. But in Qatar, Patek Philippe salesmen said it is Grey and they wonder how it came Grey while it was discontinued by 2010. Are you sure it is blue? I知 very disappointed from it. On google images blue, but on my hand Grey :(

looks fine to me. Its not a bright blue and changes quite a lot depending on lighting. Do you not like it? If not you can double your money.

Lots of photos here to compare with....https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=438011

If you want a true blue you have to buy the anniversary 5711p. The 5711/1A is more of a slate gray dark blue color dial.

What is this Grey dial he speaks of? I've never heard of a grey stainless steel 5711 dial.

The SS is a grey/blue colour as yours is, but the gap between the 12 hour markers would bother me.

Congrats. That is the blue dial. The grey 5711 was white gold and came on leather strap only.

I think you're wrong, but if you're not happy with your 5711 I'll gladly buy it from you!

Nice one Karl!

Or, you can always go with the 15202ST if you want a more true-blue (although it changes a bit with the light as well).

This was my answer, although after almost two years of ownership, I haven't worn the Jumbo for a full day.

Are you living in Qatar....me too, perhaps we could catch up for a coffee. Qatar is watch heaven

However, I found most of the dealers' salesmen not very knowledgeable and give biased advice. Specifically patek guys I don't trust what they say at all. On patek website there is only 2 options for stainless steel 5711, the white and the blue and obviously yours is the blue. Here are some photos to help you with the color

oh, that's a shame. If it has been worn for less than a full in the past two years, I would move it on and get something else that you do love. I am sure there are a number of members on this forum who would love to take it off your hands.

I have a 6-piece collection and generally wear the Jumbo at least 2-3 days out of the week.

Good question.

On the Certificate, the "Cadran/Dial: NOIR TRAME 12 INDEX GR SLM C3"
WHILE on the box the Dial is "932TNGT3" !
