took a few pics and decided to wear it today.

Sounds like you made a good choice too Andy. Both are outstanding watches, gotta be the dial.

Beautiful, Daren. I have to say I much prefer the YM to the PAM. But, hey, that's why they make so many different brands. It would be boring if we all had the same thing.

It is certainly different, that may be why I have hung on to it. I actually only wore it for about an hour today. But I like having it.

due to work , don't feel it appropiate to wear it 24/7 so the date and the lower power reserve to my Daytona make it just not as easy to slip on often stopped, then i have to bugger around with the am/pm thing with the date,

YM seconds

I really think that the all red second hand spoils the effect of this classy watch (which it is of course!). Why couldn't Rolex design guys made it white gold with a RED tip. Or... a RED shaft with a silver tip. To me it looks a bit cheap being ALL RED... sorry guys.

That's why they make winders, Steve. So you don't have to keep resetting it if you haven't worn it for a while.

I have to respectfully disagree, Steve. It's the all red hand that gives the Pt YM it's great distinctive look. It's one of the reasons why I love my all black GMT. That red 4th hand gives it a finished look.

Yes Rock, I agree abt the GMT hand, but it isn't totally red. It has a white triangle surrounded with white gold. The YM has all red and looks to me like a wall clock I saw at work once.

Different strokes Steve, I totally understand mate!

Same reason I would NEVER be caught with a Sub on my wrist, there are more of those on wrist at work than there are wall clocks.

What Daren said, Steve. Some people like landscapes, others like abstracts, and others like impressionism. That's why the man makes 28 flavors.
