Questions regarding the new Bond Bracelet?

I'm new to the Omega world, so I wanted to reach out to the experts around some questions I have.

What are the improvements over the previous Bond bracelet?

Also, will the new Bond bracelet that comes with the SMPc fit an older SMP (2531.80 or 2220.80)?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I wouldnt call any of the updates "improvements" except for the use of screws in the bracelet. I had a late 90's bond smp and sizing the bracelet was a pain so the screws are very welcome. On the contrary, the clasp has been changed in a matter which I see as unnecessary. It is smaller and doesnt fit flush into the bracelet design as the previous one did. As for fit, it will fit older smps as he lugs are same distance, but there may be a few micro mm case size differences as they use diff movts inside. Due to this, the "finish" of the fit may not be 100%. I dont see it being a worthwhile investment to "update" an older smp with a new bond bracelet, unless you constantly size your bracelet in which the screws may be a positive addition, but not enough to get my vote as a whole. its not a major update like the oyster to heavy oyster bracelet was.

just my .02
