Sword hands on PO

Has anyone ever changed the arrow hands on the Planet Ocean for 2254-style sword hands? I've seen a PO2500 bezel on a 2254, and that looked awesome. I can't help but think the PO would look great with swords.

I would own one if they came that way, a 8500 that is. The new 8500 PO is stunning, except for those hands. I can't get over them and it has held me back from buying one. Throw on some old school 300 hands and that would be a darn near perfect watch.

I think you guys are referring to the broad arrow hands, which are OEM on the PO, yes?

Right, but you said "getting rid of them" is a horrible idea, when OP is talking about adding them, and the other guy wrote "the sword hands on the PO look great to me" (maybe he meant "sound great"?), hence my question.

Personally, I think the broad arrow hands that are stock on the PO look great and don't need changing, but it would be interesting to see how one looked with the 300m Seamaster sword hands on there.....but I'm not volunteering mine for any such experiment!

I was speaking to Omegas decision to discontinue the sword hands some people still prefer the sword hands but I also like the broad arrow hands so it's preference. I think a photoshop would probably be best instead of frankenstein project

Oooooooooooooooooooh, I gotcha now....(light bulb comes on), didn't get where you were coming with before...I see what you're saying. I definitely liked them more than the skeleton hands on the newer Seamasters, just not into those...

I like both of them, but at least in my mind's eye I think I'd like the PO w/the OEM broad arrows, although I agree with you (and would like to see results of) when you write:

Yeah, that's the safest way to do it! Hope a whiz can do it for us, would be interesting to see!

Someone mocked it up on WUS, and it's kind of bland.

Anyone with a picture of a 2254.50 with PO2500 bezel? Please post.

There are some in the WUS thread started by Ed, along with the P-shopped PO/sword hands pics:
