speedy pro clasp advice

Hi, I have a speedy pro with an OEM leather strap, but I could not bring myself to purchase the $300 clasp. I bought a knockoff on eBay and while it works I am prepared to spend the coin on the OEM if it is superior. The hinge on the knockoff is a bit wobbly when open and just feels a bit cheap.... 'cause it was...

So is the OEM 94521813 clasp worth it????

I think that the clasp on my Speedy Pro is way superior to the Rolex clasps on the Sub, Gmt, Etc. I absolutely love the way it operates and feels. You won't be disappointed.

Omega charges a huge premium for their straps and clasps but they really are sooooo much better than the non-OEM parts out there. I've tried to cut corners in the past but never enjoyed the cheap stuff. Just wasted that money. Now I only buy OEM and I'm never disappointed. If you decide to buy Omega accessories, buying from the Omega boutiques may get you in their system for invitations to special events or maybe a few freebies here and there.

I can vouch the the Omega clasp is worth the money . When I ordered my clasp from Swatch Group, the my mistake sent me two and billed me for one. I am saving this clasp for when I order an extra leather band for my Moonwatch, I have a extra leather band for me Aqua Terra which looks great and saves the scratches from wearing the two tone rose gold band.

I recently bought one. Yes it's worth it. It's comfortable and well made. You can spend 100s buying various others , save up that money and get an original one.

Yes, the OEM foldover is expensive but having tried virtually every third party deployant out there, the Omega is the only one for me.

Omega increased dealer price on accessories but my dealer still has the best prices.
