What do you think this? Hacked, real or fake?

Came across this watch at a local shop. The sales guy kept saying it got serviced and is mid eighties model 5512 or 5513. Not sure of a no date sub as an everyday is for me.

Was the dial refinished? The spacing on the ft/m looks off, as does the color of the dial plots when compared to the hands.

By hacked I mean pieces together. The dial was my first worry, the sales man said it was replaced. The band wasn’t original and he didn’t give me a sure reference number. Didn’t show me the serial number either. I passed. Thanks
