Varies with each AD. My AD has never asked for a deposit. Even if I offer, they refuse. Supply is tight these days but I think you would have it in less than that time frame.
Go for it if it's what you want. Totally worth it.

Sounds pretty ok with me imo.

That is exactly my AD’s policy, but he let me slide with a $1K deposit as a return customer. He also told me when they had placed their order which was at Basel which they attend.

I was fully prepared that it might be October even January. I put my deposit down on a Friday, and the following Friday I was stunned that they notified me the 126660 JC was in. I couldn’t believe it.

I was lucky as well....when I went in to look for the JC my AD manager discovered that one of the other branches had one in the safe on "hold" for the brother in law of that branch supervisor..for over 2 weeks..he was pissed and had it shipped to our local branch and into my hands loo

I have never seen a better blue Dial on a Rolex. Simply stunning. Gotta love the blue beast!

I fully agree. Except for possibly maybe a meteorite dial, the 126660 Blue is my favorite Rolex Dial on any sports watch Rolex produces.

Just looked up the meteorite dial... looks stunning:)
Unfortunately most photos of the d-blue don’t do it justice and make it look like a cheap two tone watch . I strongly recommend seeing it in person! It is such a gradient change it looks just perfect! The different tones of blue it reflects are sthg I never get tired of looking at... strangely afterwards I couldn’t tell you the time ;)

Well, I don't have much of a relationship with the AD other than the fact that I happened to go in there when looking to see a BLNR in person in November of 2016 and they had one, which I ended up buying on the spot. I even got 0% financing on it, so it was a no brainer. When I e-mailed in to them inquiring about the Sea-Dweller, the store manager responded and I pretty much got the impression she wanted to work directly with me even though the other saleswoman was still there, but I hadn't worked with her except on that one purchase.

I don't mind working with the manager direct, I just wonder what I am gaining at this point with buying direct at the AD and paying tax and having to put down $6,000 cash, or just buying it secondary from a trusted source which should probably come with a valid warranty.

With the newer Rolex regulations, make sure it is coming from AD and warranty card....if the price is lower than gray market...stick with Ad

I like it a lot. Gives the watch a whole new identity. The brand is rubber b. Swiss made and is a premium product. However, if your wrist is 8 inches or greater, it may be a little short.

You can get one here
