Speedy Panda dial mod question

So was all geared up to purchase the Panda dial for my Speedie Pro and silver hands and I notice that one of the hour marker hands is out of stock (part no. HAN-4250).

http://www.ofrei.com/omega-watch-han...r-321-861.html

Anyone know if there is any reason why I couldn't order a 2nd second or minute marker hand (HAN-4248, HAN-4249) and use instead or is there a specific reason there are 3 seperate hands for each sub dial?

Thanks on advance good people.

This doesn't answer your question, but white-subdial hands look pretty sharp if the silver hands don't work out.

I've toyed with the white and silver idea but my OCD will get the better of me and I know it'll bug me after a while, although it'll look good.

Looks like ofrei are the only hope then, will just have to sit it out til they get more stock in.

I would still go with the silver hands for uniformity.

+1, does look good but would still go for the consistent approach. Thanks for posting the finished picture.

I agree with you. Those hands are all identical. Just purchase 3 of the same.

Another great post guys. I have a 1974 speed master with the 861 movement. I have thought about trading this watch; you guys just provided a great idea...

Let's see your pics when it's done, here is my omega now:

You could also ask the same question to the guys at Ofrei, I'm sure they'll tell you they're identical but no harm asking. Let us know the answer.

I spoke to Ofrei and also my watchmaker and each subdial hand is different apparantly, not it terms of the hand itself but the stems are differing widths. My watchmaker says he can make the minute recorder hand fit the hour recorder but it doesn't sound like it was designed to originally.

Currently I'm one hand short of a mod so pretty frustrated. It may also be some time til this is completed as Ofrei don't appear to be getting new stock any time soon. I may consider something else in the meantime, what about all orange subdial hands?!
