Whoa Bienne shuts down from July to August?
I have a very important vintage piece being repaired there and was just told they close for the summer from July to August.... seriously? for like 2 months they just close shop?....try that in America.....

I was a bit surprised that neither Rolex, Breguet, Richemond or AP closed for summer this year...They always closed and backed up on several months during summer.

Its very normal in CH that factories are closed in the summer. Not 2 months, but only 3 weeks (ususally in July)

Most Germans car factories do the same thing (approx 3 weeks) - July/August is holiday season in Europe..
