Orange PO8500

I wonder why Omega don't switch the orange bezel of PO8500 from film to ceramic?? I used to think that their technology couldn't make it but the Limited Orange PO GMT proof that they have technology, so why are they still leaving the bezel of this model film? Anybody know?

Only Omega knows for sure but there's going to be an update to the PO line, potentially even this year, to include the master coaxial wording and movements. I could see Omega upgrading the orange bezel at that time.

It works but the yield of getting it the perfect orange is very very low.

I don't think yield of getting it the perfect orange is the point. While other company like Rolex has efficiency on producing dual color ceramic bezel without issue on yield of getting it the perfect colors (I have read somewhere that red is the most difficult color to put on ceramic) I believe that Omega are not so far behind so yield of getting it the perfect orange wouldn't be the case. The truth is Omega are very advance in this industry as you might have seen a lot of innovative from Omega lately such as CeraGold, Grey Side Of The Moon Ceramic, the illuminate on the bezel in Grey Side Of The Moon etc. All of these proof that Omega are very advance in today watch industry, the only reason I could imagine is that Omega has many innovative to release and thus they can't allocate suitable slot of time to release PO orange ceramic bezel. Just my $0.02 :-p
