non dated warenty cards

i have heard of dealers not stamping them in order to give the customer 'extra' warenty- is it really as simple as adding the date yourself? is there any danger in doing it?

Rolex knows exactly where they sent each watch by country code and serial number. The first letter in the serial indicates the year.

I think Rolex would find it suspect if you brought in say, a 1998 watch with a new 2 year warrantee on it.

I'm not sure if the AD sends any paperwork back to Rolex indicating the watch is now gone from their stock and they need more watches.
