Sub’s dial question

Hello, I have just noticed that the base of my 2016 Sub’s dial is not fully flat. When looking at the dial from an angle I can see in the dial reflection a small depression around the hands post. It looks like the hands post is located in a cavity.

Is it normal? Sorry, if I could not describe it clearly.
Many thanks in advance.

Same with mine, although it’s just a slight indentation.

All normal its a prosses to strengthen the metal in the dial around the hand stack hole.

Sorry, my camera could not spot this dimple as it is only visable in the dial reflection.

I tried to capture it in the photo below, i too noticed it, didn't know what it was till this thread came up. So look in the centre, where the hands are stacked up. 12 o'clock position, between the reflection of my thumb and the stack, there is a black shadow, the stack hole
