I finally got to see the S&G in person yesterday and it is really, really beautiful. The brushed gold makes a huge visual difference there's no "bling" here and i mean it in a good way. Top notch two-toning and the date to boot!

I like the Tudor Chronograph more than the Daytona. At least the Tudor has a legible dial.

Has anyone else noticed that the here are basically no black bay black eta for sale online? I thought I was doing a pretty good job of trying to find one but there are absolutely none. The collectibility is looking pretty good for this one only a couple years old. Any other thoughts?

Just purchased a Tudor Black Bay Bronze, brown dial, not to be confused with the Bronze blue available only in Germany. Nice timepiece. Solid, substantial, and a very interesting color. I understand that it will acquire a nice patina over time. For its first 24 hours, approximately - 4 sec. COSC is +6/-4. I am not enthralled with its leather strap. Will have the NATO strap put on. A good buy for the money.

Less than 3000 made. The availability has definitely disappeared. I'm of the mind that the black Bezel ETA is a buy when you see it kind of watch because they just don't exist.

I'm in!!

I'm joining the club soon with the black bezel, in house movement black bay. This will be my first "high end" watch but I fear its a gateway rather than the final purchase. Not a bad thing but now my obsession with these forums will materialize on my wrist. I have spent way too much time debating tudor vs rolex vs omega's and I think the Tudor is the best looking, classic, modern watch I have seen. Can't wait to finally have one. So count me in the club.

Hi all. Just picked up the Black Bay Red dial today with the strap. Absolutely love it. So glad I dove in. I did go with the new in house movement and shield. No pics to post, but we've all seen them all already. Great post guys! Thanks.

Just stoped by my AD to see if it looks as good in person. Was never a sub fan or even TT, but something about this one that makes my heart tick faster:

He's giving me good price, better than GM. What do I do? Can someone talk me out of it?

Tudor reckon the gold cap can take about a dozen or so polishes before it starts to look thin. I don't usually like gold two tone but I love this watch. The gold is brushed so it's less flashy than Rolex gold PCL's. It looks more like the bronze on the BB Bronze when it's new and hasn't tarnished.
