Icon2 Date change inconsistency

The question is not about date change few minutes before or after midnight, it is about if it's normal that date change not at the same time every night, for example night1 at 12:04:50, night2 at 12:04:35.
The seconds are not the same every night when date change.

Is it normal? If not what can cause it? How to fix it?

I've read few topics about this question years ago, there are divided opinions and most of them didn't checked before answered.

I wouldn’t be concerned about it.
It’s been the norm on all of mine...

My new BLNR changes around 3 min past midnight, but not worried about it. I'm more worried about +/- sec/day changes.

. . .
Your watch is a mechanical machine. Exactly when things happen depend on torque, friction, tension, and all of those things physically moving parts into place to initiate the action.

It is unlikely to be the same, every time, all of the time.

I had the same sounding thing. Seems insane, but I swear this worked for me on my 116710ln bought new earlier this year:

I ran through the whole date wheel, though most were fine after I adjusted the first couple. it's snapped to the next date at midnight exactly ever since (for the nights I've been wearing it and up, which is many now.)

You mean the accuracy of gain/lose seconds per day?
That's a different question 😉
As long as it keep in the COSC zone it's fine!
