Need advice - time is of essence!

Dear all,

I have bugged some of your though pm for your expertise, and now I’m opening the gates to all. I have the following two offers to choose from. Please help me decide.

1. Sub 16610 M Serial engraved rehaut, mint condition, complete set for $6,300.

2. Sub 16610 D Serial, mint condition, complete set for $5,300.

Both watches look are from trusted sellers. What do you guys feel is better value for money?

Any advice is appreciated!

D-serial doesn't have the engraved rehaut? If not, I will pick the M-serial one. I like the engraving. but $1000.... see if you can negotiate down to $500 difference.

The m has the rehaut and between the lugs engraved, but doubt that adds any real value in the future.
For the $1,000 I'd probably buy the D and send it in for a complete overhaul (~$750)
good luck

Get the D-serial. Not worth the premium for the engraved rehaut, especially when you consider that the non-engraved looks cleaner.

Depends upon the condition - how worn are the bracelets? How polished is the case?
I would personally buy the one in better condition regardless of age or service.

According to the OP one is in mint condition and the other is in mint condition.

Thank you for your replies guys. I was looking at the M engraved rehaut just because I was being told that it will have great collectible value in the future. But it looks like the D serial will be just fine!

Ditto. And FWIW, I would go with the cheaper one.
