The Scintillating DWELLER from the deep blue SEA!!!

Hi guys,

What can I say? My AD called me up yesterday and offered me a price on a brand new Z-series SD which I would have been plain stupid to refuse!! A price so damn good, that even a USED SD in most parts of the world would be much more expensive!! Had to jump on it...especially since I did have the cash after the recent sale of my SS Sub!!

So I went off this morning and here I am on a warm and sultry Saturday afternoon talking to all you tossers!!

I guess I'm a full fledged member of the SD club now, uh?

I actually had to take Zemina's permission for this one!! I told her how unhappy I was with just ONE Rolex and that I always was a TWO-watch man.

The offer from my AD was just too good to pass up. If I tell you what I paid for it, most of you guys will pass out!!

The "he" happened to be quite a sexy "she"....and with some cleavage to boot.

She even let me try on a new SS DJ, but somehow the 36 mm just didn't jell.

I think I'll stick with the 40 mms only.

Well, both my recent purchases (Blue Sub and SD) have been at Partridge Jewellers. Their service, prices and treatment would make Royalty blush!!

Yes, I sold the Sub because I had lost my job....but I wasn't exactly broke. I now have an excellent part time job since a week and am back on my feet.

Besides, I had to fork out only an extra 100 bucks for this baby!!

Thanks, Ragu....but I doubt any AD would do business over the net. You have to get your ass down here for a sweet deal!!

Brilliant minds do think alike, off course,it is a completely biased opinion from my side, but it does form the most complete basic collection ... the Blue King and the Dweller

The sharp members of this esteemed forum will recall, that when everybody were wiping Rolex stained, coronet shaped tears from bloodshot eyes for JJs sale of his ss Sub,I was the one that said, that this was only for the funding, of the purchase, of nr 19 ... I must admit that I thought it was for another model, which I personally dont like.Glad it turned out to be the Dweller ...

Great pics, as always,JJ ...

Buy low, sell high ... Great pricing on the Dweller @ $4100 I got mine,at the current exchange rate, @ $4290,at the time of buying @$4400.The local pricing remained the same.I also checked on the used market and the difference was so small that, brand new was by far the best deal.Cash in hand,is always King

The way you do it JJ,is the correct way.You end up, not really spending money, just shifting it around. Isnt Rolex, just wonderful ... !!

Its amazing how fond I have become of the Dweller. It is a beautiful design in its own right.Bold, big, tough,no nonsense styling, but very elegant, clean lined and sophisticated,at the same time ...

Thanks, mate....appreciate the nice words. This is just a temporary job, but I'm hoping for better things ahead.

Believe me, if the asking price on the SD was too much, I wouldn't have bought it. The offer of $4100 was just too good to be true and too good to pass up!!
