You've made some very good points there, my friend. Yes, the Blue Sub is flashy and can get "loud" at times....but I love it.

The SD, on the other hand, is sober and its black dial contrast with the steel is soberly stunning!!

It feels great to have the best of BOTH worlds!!

Padi,

I know I have two of your favourite watches. Although you're not a TT man, I know you love the Blue Sub....and I also know how much you've always loved the SD and used it on so many of your dives!!

So,you match your bathing suit on the beach with your watch, yet you find the Blue too dressy ... ?? .Whats the colour of your ocean... Green ??

No problem if you dont like it,but the reasons are,uhmmm....... interesting.

As far as popularity goes,it is very popular in the polls and it is one of the models Rolex use, more frequently, for advertising.

I have received many compliments on the Blue TT Sub,but on my GMT II and the Sea-Dweller,very little.

Aloha everyone!!!

I won both, and had a tough time, the blue is such a pretty watch... if I had to choose between the two, though...

SD for me... prolly on the mere basis that I've had it longer...

by the way...

I dont match my watch with my bathing suit. It was an example. An example based on my OPINION that the blue sub is little too loud and flashy. No i would not wear a gold and stainless and blue sub to the beach regardless of the color of my ocean.

Have to agree on one point ... I will wear my Sea-Dweller to the beach (and it will match my black swim suit .... )

I missed my blue TT sub while on vaca recently, we did a luau thing one night and it would've been great on my wrist while we sipped cocktails on the sand that night. I'd wear mine to the beach... dunno that I'd wear it on an actual scuba dive though... the LV went this time, but my usual dive companion is my SD.

I had a feeling it would be a neck-to-neck kinda result. Both watches are very popular and equally loved.

I like the Black Face and SS combination. If I was going to go two tone, I would pick the one with black face in that instance as well. Both are fantastic.

I have both.

I have been wearing the TT Blue for a week straight now (a record for me), and I like it more and more.

According to the poll numbers, I would say that the majority is following the Pied Piper down the road with a Seadweller.
