Here's another old Hong Kong Rolex sign I found. This postcard is from the late 1950s.

It's unbelieveable how many Rolex stores exist in Hong Kong.

Another one for the series....this time taken around the 1970s, on Connaught Road in Central, before land reclaimation. This road is quite far inland now, and all the sea visible here has disappeared.

If it weren't for the McDonald's sign & a car or two in the background I'd have thought it to be a vintage photo from the 60's; it has that patina. Cool picture.

Thanks for sharing! I miss HK, especially plane watching from my family's apartment in Kowloon near Kai Tak.

Lovely pics. Always wished I'd gone to HK pre-97, a lost era now.

Just keeping this thread going...here's another old Hong Kong Rolex sign that was featured as part of a set of old photos in the local rag this week. The fairly grubby old waterfront building with the Rolex sign on it was along Des Voeux Road, which is now several blocks inland. Victoria Peak is in the background The photo was taken in November 1954 by a British soldier sailing home from the Korean War.
