Should I make the switch? SubC to Hulk

I have been wearing my 114060 SubC faithfully for nearly four years. It has been great. I've started to get a little bit bored with it, but overall love the way the modern SubC fits and looks. I have an opportunity to do a trade towards the 116610LV green SubC date that involves parting with another watch that means not much to me.

I have a tiny bit of sentimentality about my SubC, but it's just a watch :)

Has anyone made this switch from black basic SubC to the more colorful sibling Hulk? Looking for people to persuade me to do it or tell me I'm crazy.

Thanks!

I think you may come to regret it. Sentimental value in my watches is quite big though.

Yes! you should. I personally think Ceramic LV looks better than Anniversary LV. For classic Submariner, previous Aluminum Black bezel looks better than Ceramic Sub. If you ever watch a submariner in your collection in the future, you can consider the older generation or even vintage Sub. As for now, enjoy the Ceramic LV!

If the ND sub has a lot of sentimental value ie is your first Rolex don't do it. If not, by all means proceed with haste!

Indeed. Go green. Easy, very easy choice.

I love my 114060 but the Hulk is great, too. If you're bored with the 114060 and want a change, I'd go for it. You could always flip for another 114060 in the future.

I find myself wearing my LV-c more than my black ceramic sub and GMT. I do like the ability to change up with the black dial, however. I will get bored with a single watch no matter which one it is.

I would like to add the LVC one day, but not to replace my 114060.

I have and love both, not sure I would wear the LV as a daily. My 114060 still gets the most wrist time and I've only had the LV for 2 weeks.

My LVc gets the most wrist time. I absolutely love it. Do it, you will not regret

I wouldn't, black goes with everything ... Green I'm not sure, if you have 1 watch keep 114060, multiple watches Hulk I think would be a good addition. Only my opinion! Good luck and keep us posted with your decision.

I made that same switch!

to

I loved the green Sub -- it matched my outfits better (I felt) and I loved the dial color shifts. My 114060 was my first brand-new Rolex, but I refused to have a sentimental connection to it "just because." I traded it away and didn't regret a thing! Do it :)

Perhaps wait until you save up. Although i like the 116610LV i would not wear it as an everyday watch!

I would definitely do it! Mine is in a bit of a rotation but if I had to pick one to be my daily watch it would definitely be my LVC!
