My first Tudor

Been thinking of getting a Tudor, specifically one of the heritage line for quite a few years now but there was always something else ahead in the line, usually a Rolex of some sort. However I've been doing some collection consolidation lately and figuring outmexactly what I like and as such decided to take the plunge whilst going through Heathrow airport on Thursday.

I went for the Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue and all I can say is WoW! In terms of pure value for money there can't be many other watches offer better, perhaps a Moonwatch but that's about it.

Initial thoughts after a couple of days...
Packaging - sad to say it but much nicer than Rolex particularly the lacquered black box

Accessories - love the fact that you get the NATO strap, gives the whole watch a totally different look.

The watch - whilst build quality not quite up to Rolex standards which to be expected it is still very high and love the little details such as the bevels on the case. Function wise it must be the most useful watch in the Rolex line up, Chrono, date and GMT function and waterproof to 150m great for travelling and I think will also be a great summer watch.

The only thing I'd add would be a strap changing tool like the one that used to come with the old sea dwellers and it'd be perfect!

Being quite new to Tudors I have been amazed by their quality.
I am sure you will not be dissappointed.

Such a nice colour scheme on that as well! I love their speedboat add.. I don't know if you have seen it but it definitely compliments the watch!

Wear in good health!

I must admit to having listened to that Dean Martin version of 'Gentle on my Mind' once or twice on the headphones in Monaco after watching that ad.

As have I, Adam. Can't have too much Dino or THC.

And congrats, Nick!
