A few weeks agin I'd have said something else but after owning this I honestly believe you won't need anything else but a DJ41 smooth bezel

It took quite a few trips to AD trying on different Rolex's in the end got Rhodium 39 and never looked back. The Rhodium and blue contrast is quite something.

I also have the Yachtmaster dark rhodium..

But if i only have to choose only one it would be the BLNR

One thing I like about this thread is it appears most people already have that one watch :)

Would have to be either the sub date or GMT Master II full black bezel.

The 16618 is my overall goal, hopefully within the next few years. Once I figure out how many kids we're having and what they cost
Get the Rolex, they're cheaper than kids!

It would have to be the Ceramic Daytona white dial. Batman would be close second.

I'd like to say the Sub in terms of comfort & the fact it looks good with any outfit.... but if money was no object, it would have to be the Platona.

I think it would have to be the black sub - can handle almost any situation and black has always been the classic colour for a watch. It's boring but it would be the perfect 1 rolex IMO.

Uh...you're cheating my friend.

The thread clearly states only one and you've posted two. I believe you're due some infraction points...or something.

I second the motion, as Brian was giving me heat on Paul's thread for enabling a content man, and now look at him here.

Mine would be this, and has been for a few months here and there.

Guess it depends on the person’s environment , same as the tools you find in his garage. For me, especially in today’s terms, it’s the GMT Ceramic LN all day long. You have to hunt & peck to find another time zone on the phone, yet with a trusty GMT it’s on the wrist. Ceramic means less scratch where it matters most, therefore you got yourself something special. I’m partial but it’s now my go-to and rarely comes off the wrist

What was an impulse buy has turned into my take anywhere do anything watch. I genuinely couldn't imagine a replacement for this watch in my collection.

Neil your 18LB posts have converted me. I thought my next PM piece would be a Smurf, BLRO, or Flex Daytona for sure. No more, I'm sold

Such an enabler

Hey guys ☺

I just recently joined here to see what would be the " best " Rolex to give as a gift for my loved one?

I've been leaning on a Submariner with No Date but just wanted to see more options?

Thanks in advance!!

Coming from the the chief of enabling I'll take that as a compliment
