Good luck with your first Rolex watch purchase. I purchaed all my Rolex watches from an Authorized Rolex Dealer -- others recommend trusted sellers on this forum. Do what will give you peace of mind.

Plenty of reputable sellers here. I usually deal with David SW but I would not hesitate to buy from others. I like David so I stick with him.
You received some good information regarding AD's as well. I happen to live in a region with no AD so it is much easier to deal with David for me. When I lived in the city I had a relationship with the local AD and was very happy with the deals and service I got from them.
