I think that they dropped the Tridor Day Date because it looks like a SS/gold instead of the all precious metal model that it is.

I like it, but how about a two tone model?
White gold and yellow gold? I don't see it happening, but a lot of people like two tone.

I understand the engineering marvel behind merging the 3 metals into one bracelet but IMO it is absolutely hideous. Might actually be the most terrible looking Rolex I've ever seen.

Definitely an old school classic. Seen one in the flesh around 6 months ago. While I like it, I didn't love it so I passed and it was sold very quickly.
