Could've done worse for a first Panerai

I'd always wanted to like Panerai, but could never find one that really technically appealed to me, until PAM 317, ceramic, GMT, mono-pusher chrono, manual wind, it just checked all the boxes.

Congrats!

I used to have a 275.
The button on the bottom left side really made the watch for me.

Congrats....one of my favorite watches. Bought a K version from NY Boutique in early 2010 and it still gets a ton of wrist time.

Thank you gents. Unfortunately, I am being tempted to let er go after only a little over a month. I am NOT typically a flipper, but, of course the moment I give up on finding the "one" and go for something fun to tide me over, I find "the one" pop up at a nearby dealer..... decisions, decisions....

You just need more than one watch then....you won’t make any money flipping PAMs. You will enjoy owning a few

Which one is the ‘one’ for you now?

Lol, the 'one" now is a JLC Extreme Lab 2. I've been lusting after it for a couple years. Last December, I was ready to pull the trigger and had it slip through my fingers. I picked up the PAM because I was bored. Low and behold, another JLC EL2 pops up a month later.
