Today was my first ride of the season. Was only able to get 15 miles in due to limited time. I'm definitely feeling it though lol

Any bicycle riders here? Lets see your ride!

My daughter and I just got new bikes, an Electra for her, a Felt for me. Both Cruisers.

She'd outgrown her first bike and needed a new one. I haven't bought a bike in 20 years...when I bought a Bianchi mountain bike. Still have it, still enjoy it, but also like the laid back Cruiser approach to bike riding.

Funny looking bike but damn comfortable. My longest, single-day ride this year was 250.08 miles on an extremely windy day.

Last year, my longest ride was 750 miles in just over 88 hours. I didn't set any speed records and didn't sleep too much either.

Lew, what bags do you have on the back of the Felt? They look really good and match your seat perfectly!

I had a unicycle in my teens and am hankering for another one. There's a vintage Schwinn (like I had) that I see on Craigslist from time-to-time but its only 20". When a 24" shows up, it will be mine!

Thanks, those bags came with the bike...the model is the "MP". Vintage military styling. I ought to be carrying dispatches for General Patton with this bike!

Thanks!

I forgot to comment on the OD paint, me likey! It would look great with a couple of stenciled stars on it.

Oops, it appears the MP did come with stenciling.

Replaced my early 1970s Motobecane Grand Touring (like this one) with a 1987 Nishiki Ariel mountain bike when we moved to Scottsdale in 1988, then upgraded the my current Specialized Rockhopper 29 last month. After 40 years it was time for my third proper adult bike! I had a bike in college, but it was an all-steel cheapo heavyweight 10-speed!

2. The off roader: 2005 Bianchi S.A.S.S. (Steel single-speed)

3. The TdF bike: 2002 Look KG281 (Carbon, Dura-Ace)

4. The looker: 80s Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra (Columbus SLX, Dura Ace)

Thanks for the kind words. I spent the winter of 2010-2011 building it up. I ordered the frame and fork from Rivendell and also had Rivendell paint it the color you see. I spent the whole winter building it up and sweating over every little detail of the build. Built the wheels up from scratch as well.

Custom titanium frame for single speed.
Hand built wheels (by me) & many lightweight components but without any sacrifice in strength.

I use it with 1, 2 or no brakes depending what type of riding i feel like doing. ~13lbs

Nice! Looks like my old Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra (Team Domex) (Campy) that I sold a few years ago. Wish I had it back.

I am originally from Mpls. My brother still lives there and did some work for Greg LeMond. When he had finished the work, Greg gave him his old TV. To this day, it is one of his most prized possessions.
