I just got a bike this past week, this photo is off the comapany's website. My son likes riding BMX/freestyle and I upgraded his bike from a 16" to an entry level 18". He turns 6 next week. I liked the company's bikes so much I bought myself a Sunday Model C 24". Absolutely love it - it's a lot of fun and really brought me back to my young-years... and I'm now able to ride in the skate/parks with him while getting rad... LOL. The geometry is great - and thinking of getting a Wave C frame and building it out as my next step. I've crashed twice already.

And this is my son's 18"... I rode it when I picked it up at the bike shop and had a blast... even in its tiny pint size.

Here's mine I use it to run my beagle on a trail by my house. When a mountain biker goes by we stop give them a 200 yard or so head start than we close to about 50 yards and stop. He loves that better than chasing rabbits .

Thanks Gus - we're lucky yo live 1/2 mile away from two great parks to ride, so we just ride from the house most of the time during the week. We do load up the bikes and head out to other trails, but mainly on weekends.

Thanks, Tom!

I took my son to a bike park in Cupertino yesterday - it's BMW centric dirt track but lots of freestyle guys there as well. We had a blast. I am so sore today. My son crashed a few times but he's learning. He befriended another 6-year-old who was riding a triditional racing BMW bike and he was able to learn a few tips. I was also surprised at how many 40-year-old "dads" were there riding their 20" BMX/freestyle bikes.

It seems to be the trend for old guys like myself, going back to the old days of BMX'ing... tricks and jumps... while getting some great exercise --- while bonding with our kids which has the most value of all rather than sitting on a bench watching.

Wore my Explorer II 42mm and it was a champ - although the weight/crown beat the crap out of my wrist. May pick up a 20" (21.5" top-tube) BMW/freestyle bike in the coming weeks. I'm HOOKED "again"!!!

Brompton for when I need a bit of compactness. Superb British engineering a design masterpiece:

And for when I need to 'push on' for the occasional commute the Moulton TSR9 with spaceframe. Another British classic from the stable of the late Alex Moulton:

Cool - mid-90's? Was that Cannondale's response to the Y-frame Trek? I don't recall seeing that model before.

Another six years, and it'll be "vintage".

That might make my mid-80s Technium approaching "antique"?
