If you sell the Sedna the amount you lose is still probably less than the amount you would have paid for the Snoopy on the gray market. So you're essentially in the same spot as if you just bought the Snoopy from a gray in the first place. No reason to make something trivial like a wristwatch cause you so much stress.

Just reading this for the first time and I'm not buying it. Until I see pics it didn't happen.

If by some chance it DID happen I still don't know what the big problem is. The sedna speedy is a fantastic watch. As others have said, sell the Snoopy and keep the sedna for practically free.

Every once in a while would get a text and pictures that a Sedna had arrived and for me to buy it. Finally I started reading between the lines that if I wanted the Snoopy I had to get the Sedna. Finally I told him I would consider it for my 60th birthday on June 2. About 1 month I had inquired about a rare museum Omega piece. It arrives from Switzerland and then pressures me to visit the boutique and check out the Museum piece. I reluctantly go. Displayed in front of me are both watches, the Sedna and the museum piece but w/o box and papers, “lost”. I then inquire about arrival of Snoopy. He pulls it out and tells me which one of these 2 watches will accompany the Snoopy? Like an idiot I purchase the Sedna, 1 month prior to my birthday. Regretted the moment I walked out. Any advice? Can’t even take out the Sedna from the box. I even want to sell it. Did not buy it on my terms, it was forced onto me. Can’t return it. That watch evokes anger. I was taken as a fool, totally disrespected and hate myself for being so stupid. I should have walked out but doubt he would have sold me the Snoopy.
With all due respect Doctor...that sounds like the explanation that I someone gave someone when I my friends and I all spent our lunch money on fire crackers.

I think I was 9 years old.

LOL on some of these comments.

When the new Snoopy was announced, I showed it to the wife and she said something like "oh, that's cute, you should buy it!". Natch, she is my worse enabler, but a few minutes on the forums educated me that I had a zero zip nada big fat bagel chance of getting one. And mjb does not pay over MSRP or "market price" for anything. Period. And he doesn't bundle. And he rarely impulse buys, although he has made a lot of mistakes and has had a lot of buyer remorse. But that's another thread.

It's amazing to me that some people are smart enough to have enough money to drop tens of thousands of dollars on a watch, but not enough sense not to do stupid stuff like this.

Am I missing something? There are 22 Sedna gold Speedy's on Chrono24 all listed for at least retail plus 10%. Simply sell it.

Return the Sedna if it’s in new and unworn condition.
