And then there were three

That's it...I'm done! Finally managed to secure a fine condition 40th Anniversary Snoopy to complete the trio.

That should sate my need to grow the collection for a while.... I hope

I’ve been looking to buy a Snoopy 1 as well to go with the 2 and 3, but when I hold one I can’t get away from the fact that it’s just a picture stuck on the dial and case back!

People are still asking, in my view, far too much for then in the UK, they are coming down though so I’m just waiting to see how low they get.

I do like the idea of having the set, maybe one day.

I hope you enjoy your watch.

As far as the white gold broad arrow is concerned, I really like it but I think the price is just ridiculously high. It’s about double the Daytona equivalent if I remember correctly? Far too high for me unfortunately.

Even though it was heavily wrapped, it was hard not to be impressed with the heft of the watch.

Not a pretty watch, but it sure has gravitas.

When you think about it, it’s really difficult to justify the price of any of these watches. When perfectly decent mechanical watches can be procured for under $1000 from lesser known vendors, what justifies the premium commanded by these Speedies.

In a word….emotion. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Latest Snoopy news.... The puppies have new shoes.

BTW, for the avoidance of any doubt, the new Speedmaster bracelet (with clasp extension mechanism) fits the 1861 case without issues.

So true.

I also want a good Apollo 11 40th anniversary speedy. These are a lot cheaper in the UK than the Snoopy 1, I just wish the two models were available here at a similar price.

You could get one out of Japan at considerable savings.
