Daniel Craig wearing Bond Nato band at the latest movie Spectre
Here's the photo spotted at the streets of Rome during the movie actions.. It seems to be a nato band but not sure about the watch as it must be an Omega..

Man I can't wait to see this movie! Kind of looks like a leather strap with double bumps, however you describe it.

I'm watching Casino Royale (again) as I type this. Huge Daniel Craig fan even if he doesn't wear a Rolex

Doubt it since Bond's wristwatch is obvious product placement territory and Omega surely wants to stay on as provider to Craig's Bond. They even paid to get mentioned in the script during the train scene of one film.
Anyone know what car(s) he's driving in this film?

I'd bet it's the new 300 as it would look great on that nato and they could place it in the movie. Win/win for Omega

Criag used to only wear Omegas when in wardrobe; he was regularly seen wearing a Rolex even on publicity tours for the moves. At the time "James Bond" was an Omega Ambassador but not Daniel Craig. So now he is one as well, and I assume he has a certain contractual obligation to wear an Omega. But I can't see him scrapping his other watches as he clearly liked wearing them. It would be interesting to see what the Omega contract actually says. Regardless, I think the guy is definitely into fine timepieces and I assume he probably has an impressive collection. I find it hard to believe he'd be obligated to only wear Omegas when in public.

Wow, very cool, thanks for sharing! DC is definitely supposed to be wearing an Omega in the films. Maybe it's one of his own Rolexes??

Omega has their own line of Nato straps now so I'm guessing it's this one...

The watch he's wearing is the new Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial in SS on an Omega NATO strap.

The odd thing about that Omega NATO, even though it is well made, is that it uses an Omega buckle that has a spring bar, which, compared to cheapie NATOs, adds another point of failure...which is kinda the point of NATOs in the first place.
It's also kind of funny to see Bond wearing a NATO that is the color often misidentified as the original Bond NATO color. |

I can hardly wait to see the new Bond! I love Bomd movies. Craig is the best Bond ever in my opinion. He really should be wearing a Rolex.

The original Bond watch in the movies was a Submariner 6538 on ZULU strap
This is just Omega/Swatch Group cashing in on the vintage fad in the watch industry, selling their NATO straps for $180 (!). It is shrewd marketing, nothing else. The real James Bond in Ian Flemmings book wore a Rolex. Nothing else. |

The audacity of Omega to cash in on Rolex territory
